Chelsea Expo Returns April 15

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bill O’Reilly for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Senior Center is pleased to welcome back the wonderful annual community event Chelsea Expo on Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 2.

This all-ages event will take place at the senior center, 100 building of the Washington Street Educational Center at 512 Washington St. (the old high school).

It is anticipated that 1,500 to 2,000 people will attend and visit the vendor and organization booths spread out between the gym, cafeteria and room 100 (the old fishbowl).

For businesses, the booth fees range from $75 to $100;  there is no fee for area non-profits.  A 6-foot table and 2 chairs are provided with all booths. There will be food service in the cafeteria and the senior center’s World’s Best Bake Sale will be in full swing. We’ll also have entertainment at certain times during the event.

Booths are still available, but are limited, so interested businesses or organizations should reach out soon. We would also welcome volunteers and baked goods.

For anything related to this event, please contact the Chelsea Senior Center:  734-475-9242, Connected@ChelseaSeniors.org or visit our website: www.ChelseaSeniors.org.
