Did you know: Chelsea Rotary funds Chelsea High School scholarships?

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Lori Coryell for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Rotary Club is committed to improving the quality of life for people in our community. Through its fundraising efforts, the club supports Chelsea students pursuing post-secondary education through diverse scholarship opportunities.

Chelsea Rotary awards scholarships to those graduating students of Chelsea High School who will be continuing their education after graduation and are active CHS Interact Club Members (through CHS Interact, students develop leadership skills while discovering the power of “Service Above Self.” And it’s fun, too.).

Applicants must demonstrate Rotary’s commitment to community, social, and civic involvement and share how they represent the Rotary mission of service.

Interact Scholarship awards will be announced at CHS Class Night on June 1.

If you are attending Chelsea High School next year, consider joining Interact. You’ll make friends, have fun, help others, and make a difference.
