Lion President Dave Jachalke and Rotary President Ann Knox with guest speaker Donna Lane from a recent joint meeting with the local Lions, Rotary and Kiwanis clubs. In attendance but not picture is Kiwanis President elect Jim Randolph. All three clubs were very grateful for Donna coming and sharing the history of Chelsea. In an interesting note, Donna said she has lived in only two houses in Chelsea during her life.

  1. I was looking forward to reading what MRS LANE had to say…………but as usual……………..NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A suggestion…..either print the story about what she had to say or stop teasing us who read this “Update” with superfluous headlines and no a word of comment on Mrs Lane’s comments. This is not what a quality reporter should does…..that is make a splashy headline and follow up with nothing…..how can you make claims you don’t back up???
Please REPORT in depth what you flash as an important headline or dodon’t reportanything at all.
These comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful comments on your attempts to deliver the events happening in Chelsea. Donna Lane is a class individual and not publishing her comments and observations is a terrible lack of courtesy to her and her reputation, you owe her a large apology and an in-depth report on her address to that joint service club gathering…not a boring picture of service group leaders patting each other on the back every time they have a meeting speaker.

    Sincerely,

    Dudley Holmes
