Debbie’s Delites is among the fresh baked goods you’ll find at the Wednesday Chelsea Farmers Market.
Debbie Boone from Manchester has been selling her wide variety of cakes and cookies for the last four years at Chelsea’s Wednesday market. She calls the Chelsea market her “home away from home.”
Stop by her booth Wednesday for a variety of cookies, pie bars, zucchini bread, candy treats, apple butter and more.
There will also be fresh breads at the market as well as a large variety of newly harvested produce including strawberries, rhubarb, broccoli, spinach, and greens.
You’ll also find plants, perennials, annuals, and hanging baskets.
The Wednesday market runs from 1-5 p.m. and is located in the Chelsea State Bank parking lot, at 1010 S. Main St., near the corner of Old US-12 and M-52.
There is a new regional (Chelsea, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge) food assistance program to help get healthy market food on the tables of those in need. It’s aimed at folks who don’t quite meet SNAP criteria. Be sure to inquire at the market.
