Lloyd, Arlene and Matt Grau want to thank the community

The Zion Lutheran Church recently held a benefit dinner for Matt Grau who was diagnosed with glioblastoma, or brain tumors. The Grau family was so appreciative of the community’s efforts, they sent this letter of thanks.

We would like to thank those who attended, donated, worked or helped in any way for the Matt Grau benefit supper on March 15.

Right now, he is trying to hold on, but has some cognitive problems. He had to resign from his job and he can’t drive so he replies on friends and the bus to get him to his appointments. His medical bills and insurance are very high, but this fund will certainly help.

He appreciates all the cards, thoughts and prayers that the community has given him.

God Bless you all.

Lloyd and Arlene and Matt Grau

(Publisher’s note: If you’d like to donate to Matt’s fund, please stop by or send a check to Chelsea State Bank and make it payable to the Matthew Grau Fund.)
