March 20: Chelsea Rotary Club Quartermania fundraiser at the Chelsea Fairgrounds

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Lorna Tackwell for the information in this story.)

Chelsea Rotary Club is hosting its third Quartermania fundraiser on Wednesday, March 20 at the Chelsea Community Fairgrounds from 7-9 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.

Quartermania is an auction where people place quarter bids on the items they want. If the number drawn matches the number on a bidder’s paddle, that bidder wins the prize.

Club members are looking forward to another fun-filled evening featuring local vendors, themed baskets, pizza and soft drinks.  Vendors supplying items for bidding include Nana’s Boutique, Thirty One, Hoola Jewelry, Hair by Trios, Jewelry by Susan, Jim’s Cake Balls and many more.

Proceeds from Quartermania will benefit local charities. Through fundraisers like Quartermania, Rotary has supported the good work of St. Louis Center, WAVE, Faith in Action, Huron Pathways, and Saturday Morning Challengers – among other worthy organizations.
