May 2: Chelsea Saturday Farmers Market opens

On Saturday, May 2 from 8 a.m. to noon, the Chelsea Saturday Farmers Market opens for the season in the Palmer Parking lot.

Below is a list of some of the vendors that are expected to be there on opening day and what they expect to have available.

Chelsea Update will once again bring you extensive listings and features on the vendors at both farmers markets and what they expect to have each week through the end of October.  The listing for the Saturday market will appear on Fridays and the Wednesday Bushel Basket Market listings will appear either on Monday or Tuesday.

Zatkovich Pastures – chicken
Goetz Family Farms – vegetables and starts
H and H Sugarbush – maple syrup
LA Baguette – a variety of French pastries: the classic baguette, boule, a rustic rye and sesame bread, Madeleines and brioche. Come and sample our products.
Cakes by Penny – coffee cakes and muffins

Debbie’s Bead Design – woven beaded bracelets, strung bead bracelets and necklaces, and earrings
Greystone Creamery – cheese
Fresh – coffee (hot coffee and ground coffee)

Two Tracks Acres – Pork and chicken
Stone Hearth Bakery – cheese and raisin bread, blueberry strawberry and peach dessert bread, cookies and more.
Wild Apple Farms – Handmade Artisan Wildcrafted Soaps, RUSTic Repurposed Woodland and Agricultural Metals, Herbal Apothecary, Wildcrafted Herbal Products, Raw Local Honey, Fresh Organic-Practice Produce, Boulangerie and Gluten-Free Breads, Wyld™ Muffins, Cakes and Baked Goods, Jams and Jellies, Teas, Wild Granola
