(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bob Milbrodt for the information in this story.)

At last week’s Chelsea Kiwanis Club meeting, Ben Wielechowski outlined a bold plan for the rapidly evolving property just north of town called Robin Hills Farm.  The facility will be leading community education on cutting edge, sustainable, and efficient ways to farm and fish.

Robin Hills will be a destination for residents for recreation and education with hiking/biking trails, classes, CSA memberships, and other activities for the whole family, he said.

On Monday, we will hear from Jeff Hardcastle of Huron Waterloo Pathways, who will inform us about connecting Stockbridge, Chelsea, Dexter, and Pinckney with a hiking/biking trail. This will encourage activity and fitness for the community, safe from motorized traffic-filled roads.

More information can be found by clicking here.

The meeting begins at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy-Chelsea Hospital cafeteria, and the speakers begin at about 6:45 p.m.

Everyone is invited to the meetings to learn about Kiwanis and check here for more information.
