The slates are tentatively set for the partisan candidates running for office in Lima, Lyndon and Sylvan townships in the Aug. 2 primary election.
According to each township’s clerks, below is who filed for the partisan positions.
In Lima Township:
Supervisor: Craig Maier, R, incumbent
Treasurer: Nanette Havens, R, incumbent
Clerk: Elaine Bater, R, currently appointed to office
Mary Tobin, R
Trustees:Donald Laier, R, incumbent
Greg McKenzie, R, incumbent
Duane Luick, R
In Lyndon Township:
Supervisor: Marc Keezer, R, incumbent
Treasurer:Mary Jane Maze, R, incumbent
Clerk: Linda Reilly, D, incumbent
Trustees: Robert Mester, D, incumbent
John Francis, R, incumbent
In Sylvan Township:
Supervisor: Scott Cooper, R, incumbent
Tom McKernan, R
Treasurer: Rodney Branham, R, incumbent
Clerk: Kathleen Kennedy, D, currently appointed to office
Trustees: Roy Schmidt, D, incumbent
Kurt Koseck, R, incumbent
Those who wish to run as independents for township office for the Nov. 8 general election have until 4 p.m. on July 21 to submit petitions.
