Recent Obituary: Dianne Arlene Kuhl

Dianne Arlene Kuhl of Dexter, age 74, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at her home.

She was born June 17, 1949, in Bottineau, North Dakota, the daughter of Everett Joseph and Gladys Arlene (Monson) Solper.

Dianne graduated from Bottineau High School in 1967. She worked at MacDee’s in Chelsea, and Rick’s Market. She then became a letter carrier for the US Postal Service, working in Chelsea for most of her career, retiring after 30 years. Dianne was a Union Steward, Health Benefits Representative, and a lifetime member of the VFW Auxillary and the American Legion Auxillary.

Dianne enjoyed sewing and quilting and was in a quilting club. She loved to garden, growing her own fruits and vegetables, canning, and then sharing them with others. She also loved her plants and flowers which she enjoyed sharing.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea, with Chaplain Renee Hampton officiating. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. The family will receive friends Friday, September 15, from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., and before the service starting at 9:00 a.m.
