Sylvia Marlene Krieger of Jackson, formerly of Chelsea, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson, Michigan.
She was born April 30, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of James and Sylvia (Enlow) Duncan, formerly of Chelsea.
Marlene graduated from Elizabethtown High School. She worked for DANA in Chelsea and Global Dynamics in Ann Arbor. Marlene was a member of New Living Covenant Church in Jackson, where she sang in the choir and volunteered in many areas of the church.
She loved to sew and cook. She owned a ceramic shop “Pagoda Ceramics” in Chelsea for many years. She and Don were foster parents for many years.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 6 p.m. at New Covenant Living Church, with Rev. Jerry Cox officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Chelsea, Michigan.
