Register for ‘Guiding Good Choices’ Parent Workshops

SRSLY is leading a free parent workshop in Chelsea this summer Mondays, June 17-July 15, 10 a.m. to noon at the Chelsea First United Methodist Church, located at 128 Park St. in Room 207.

The Guiding Good Choices program aims to prevent substance abuse among teens by teaching parents of preteens and younger adolescents the skills they need to improve family communication and family bonding.

During lively, interactive workshops, parents learn practical skills to help them strengthen their relationship with their children, and help kids avoid drug use and other problems.

Parents, guardians and/or grandparents who participate in the Guiding Good Choices workshop decrease their kids’ chances of drug use by 40 percent.

Registration is required.
