(Chelsea Update would like to thank Barb Satterthwaite for the information in this story.)

Zion Lutheran Church, 3050 South Fletcher Road, is hosting a Ribs ‘N Fixins dinner on Saturday, April 24 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. This dinner is TAKE-OUT only.

The menu will include Pit BBQ ribs (1/3 slab), bourbon baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread muffin, potato chips and carrot cake. The cost per dinner is $15.

Tickets are for sale at Reed’s Barber Shop and True North Jerky. Neil and Janis Horning are selling tickets and taking reservations as well. Contact them at 734-320-5004 or [email protected].

Advance reservations are strongly urged.

Fifty percent of the proceeds will be apportioned evenly between Rippling Hope, Chelsea Faith in Action, and the Manchester Community Resource Center and the other 50 percent will go to Zion’s Capital Improvement Campaign.

This is a great way to help your neighbors while enjoying a delicious meal.  We hope you can join us.
