Retiring Fire Capt. Chris Smyth Honored for 30 Years of Service

Last week, the Chelsea Area Fire Authority held a coffee for retiring Fire Capt. Chris Smyth.

Smyth is retiring after 30 years with Chelsea fire. Starting as a volunteer for Chelsea Fire Department, he is retiring as a full-time captain. 

He worked for HVA as a paramedic for many years before becoming a full-time firefighter for Chelsea.
