A unique, new business was welcomed to Chelsea at a ribbon cutting ceremony May 5 hosted by the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce.

Kelly Goodell cut the ribbon outside of her new office, located at 1221 S. Main St., Suite 1.

Goodell specializes in mediumship, astrology, and energy mapping, and is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner-in-Training. She started the training program in 2020 and that’s when Goodell says, “It became clear to me that healing through the body is key to permanent growth and change.” Her projected completion date of the program is in late 2022.

She helps people work with their bodies and their energy to resolve trauma and learn how to use their energy the way they choose.

Goodell has had what she calls “an intuitive connection” since childhood. As an adult, she learned about astrology and began to explore her psychic ability and to learn how to receive information intuitively. She describes it as, “learning the language of planets, signs, houses, and how they all connect with each other.”

She is also interested in yoga, tarot, numerology, and practical magic.

Goodell worked as a successful manager and consultant for more than 20 years.
