“I wanted to thank the Chelsea community for your support yesterday during the Run for the Rolls for my son, Jacob.

You were patient as you waited for him to finish but most of all, for those who read the sign on my back that said no cheering please, you were so respectful and with quiet encouragement kept him moving along.

We could not be more proud of the accomplishment this was for Jacob and for living in a community that is so accepting.

Thank you again.”

  1. Dear Nelson Family, Many of us did not or could not see
your sign on the back of your shirt until you passed! We
meant no disrespect, We just didn’t see your wishes!!!
So sorry for that awkward mistake.

What an accomplishment for Jacob and you all!! Next year
turn that shirt around or wear one that says it on both
sides so he gets all the support he needs with no distractions!!!LOL
