The Western Washtenaw Recycling Authority (WWRA) held an open house for residents Saturday morning allowing interested people to see the single stream operation. They were able to tour the inside of the new building on Werkner Road.

Although the recycling operation was not online during the tour, operations manager Phil Bolyard explained how it worked and answered visitor’s questions.
