(Chelsea Update would like to thank David Slusser and Dan Rhodes for the information in this story.)

7th grade

The 7th grade Beach Middle School football team wrapped up its season with a home loss to the 7th/8th grade Manchester middle school team by a score of 55-0.

Hunter Burk, Luke Cavanaugh, and Caden Steele led the dogs on offense while Ben Fischer and Alex Venegas had big games up front on defense.

Beckett Boos and Buck Allen had stellar kick and punt returns all game and set the dogs up with excellent field position. The team improved greatly throughout the season.

Special thanks to all parents and game volunteers who gave their time to make the season happen.

8th grade

The Beach Middle School 8th grade football team lost to Pinckney Tuesday night, 18-0.

The Bulldog defense shut down the Pirates in the 2nd half as they posted a shutout over the final two quarters.

Richard Montoye had some strong runs, and Luke Webster made a couple catches to lead the offense. Defensively, Sam Borcherding and Will McCalla made some good stops, with Borcherding delivering one of the games better hits.

This was the final game of the 8th grade season and they look forward to playing for the high school team next season.
