Both Beach Middle School volleyball teams log wins

7th grade

Beach Middle School 7th grade volleyball team got a clean sweep match win at home Wednesday vs. Lincoln – 25-12, 25-23, 25-23.

The Dawgs improved their serving after much practice this week sending 42 serves over the net as a team during the match.

Top server was Mia Kuboushek with 16 serves for the match. Taya Hall, Rebecca Miller, and Avery Olaveson all had nice passes and Rebecca Miller also had a nice pass to set up a combo for Emma Grace Ruszkiewicz and Ava Reyes with the tip.

Lexi Cummer and Lily McCalla had good net play, too.

8th grade

Beach Middle School’s 8th grade volleyball team got a win on their home court defeating Lincoln 25-19, 16-25, 25-22 Wednesday.

Avery Lay and Maggie McKale had a great night at the net getting kills and putting the ball were the Railsplitters weren’t.

Anna Brant had blocks at the net to move the score up in the Bulldogs favor. Chelsea setters handled the ball even when it was tight on the net.

Kennedy Anderson had the winning kill to bring the Bulldogs victory.
