Conservation District fall tree sale through Sept. 22

Trees for fall planting that can be used for windbreaks or screens to block the wind, unwanted views or as sound barriers; to reduce soil erosion by providing permanent cover for the soil; to create habitat to attract wildlife to your property; or to reforest open areas can be ordered from the Washtenaw County Conservation District’s Fall Conservation Tree Sale through Sept. 22.

Tree species available include: 3 or 4-year old transplants of Balsam Fir, Red Pine, White Pine, Norway Spruce and White Spruce.  Also available are planting aids to assist in tree planting.

Ordered trees are scheduled for pick-up on Friday, Oct. 13.

For more information about the Fall Conservation Tree Sale or to obtain an order form, contact the Washtenaw County Conservation District, 7203 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor.  Telephone: (734) 761-6721 ext. 5.
