Dec. 12: Chelsea Kiwanis Club drive thru nut sale at Chelsea State Bank parking lot

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Jim Randolph for the information in this story.)

Holiday shopping not complete?

Getting desperate for gift ideas?

Perhaps Kiwanis can help.

Chelsea Kiwanis will host a drive thru nuts and chocolates sale in the Chelsea State Bank parking lot (corner of Main Street and Old US-12) on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 2.25-pound cans of nuts include cashews, almonds, pecans, Brazils, and pistachios (no peanuts). The 2-pound tin of candies includes dark chocolate covered almonds and pretzels, milk chocolate cashews and raisins, double-dipped chocolate peanuts, peanut butter pretzels, and milk chocolate toffee peanuts. The price is $25 per can for either product. Cash, checks, credit cards or Venmo will work.

The net proceeds from these sales will be pumped back into the Chelsea community supporting a myriad organizations and activities. So, let Kiwanis help with your shopping dilemma and by so doing, in turn you will be helping the greater Chelsea community.

2020 has been a difficult year for everyone. Regardless of what lies ahead for 2021, be assured that Chelsea Kiwanis will be prepared to support our children and our community.
