J. Patrick Dignan (Ypsilanti/Chelsea) will be honored as a 2015 Michigan High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductee at the MHSFCA Hall of Fame banquet on Saturday, March 28 at the Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel.
“Coach Dignan coached in Chelsea for 15 years,” said Chelsea Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Brad Bush.
“He was a leader and mentor to many players and fellow coaches,” Bush said, adding, “He has had a profound impact on the Chelsea football program. Personally, it was a great joy to coach with him for those many years.”
Inductees and guests will hear from Jim Harbaugh, new U-M football coach, who will be the guest speaker at the event.
