July 15: ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at Robin Hills Farm

Robin Hills Farm will be hosting their first outdoor theater event in their amphitheater on Saturday, July 15, presented by Grand Haven-based traveling troupe Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company. Show times are 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

This one-day special event performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will feature Michigan’s only professional touring Shakespeare company. Founded in 1998, Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company specializes in high-energy, interactive renditions of classical works by the Bard, performing year-round across the state and beyond. With live musical interludes and a high level of audience participation, these adaptations are engaging and accessible for all ages.

Audience members are encouraged to bring their own blankets, chairs and other seating to the amphitheater. Refreshment sales will be provided via Robin Hills Farm, who will be vending freshly-popped, Michigan-grown heirloom popcorn, Boxed Water from Holland, MI, and St. Steve’s Elderflower and Ginger Sodas, handmade at Mud Lake Farm in Hudsonville. Robin Hills Farm organic produce will also be available for purchase.

Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Pre-registration online is encouraged. Student and senior discounts will be sold at the door for $15. Tickets are non-refundable.
