Izabel Bloomensaat was a recent guest of the Chelsea Lions Club and she brought Charlotte, a class spider, to the meeting.
The kindergarten student at North Creek Elementary is working on a school journal in which she must document where the spider goes in her travels.
The spider belongs to Deb Boham’s kindergarten class and is part of a class project where each student gets to take the spider to different locations and write about the experiences.
The Lions meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month at the Chelsea Community Hospital dining room at 6:30 p.m. and we are always looking for people who would like to join club. Both men and women are welcome.
