Nov. 23-25, Dec. 1, 8: ‘Donutpalooza’ at Salem Grove United Methodist Church

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Shirley Hoppe for the information in this story.)

It’s “Donutpalooza” time at Salem Grove United Methodist Church.

This small country church is located at 3320 Notten Road in the heart of Sylvan Township’s Christmas tree farms just west of Chelsea.

The United Methodist Women’s group offers fresh donuts made right at church while you watch.

Also offered are home-baked traditional Christmas treats, Merindorf hot dogs and hot and cold beverages for dining in or for take-out. The always popular Family Meal Deal will be available again this year.

Handcrafted decorations and gifts will also be offered for sale.

A special Christmas tree ornament will be gifted by Salem Grove to each family.

Hours are:  Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23-24, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 25 noon-4:30 p.m.

The following two Saturdays, Dec. 1 and 8, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. round out this year’s “Donutpalooza”.

Welcome the Christmas season with family and friends.  And remember, the coffee is always free.
