Now enrolling: 2’s playgroup at Chelsea Co-op Preschool

preschool-logo-7(Chelsea Update would like to thank Jocelyn Webber for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Children’s Cooperative Preschool is now enrolling for the 2-year old child and their parent playgroup. The class is 1.5 hours and is held at Washington Street Education Center on Friday mornings from 9:15-10:45 a.m.

Enrollment for the January-April session is now open and the cost is $80.

The 2-year-old playgroup provides families with a parent-child activity for the child who is not quite old enough to attend the traditional preschool. It also gives parents a means to connect with other parents as well as provide some “preschool experience” to both parent and child so that the transition to the 3-year-old preschool will be less intimidating.

If you are interested in joining this playgroup, please submit a completed and signed application along with the class fee. (Children enrolling in the 2-year-old playgroup must be 2 years old by Sept. 1, 2014.)

Participation in the 2’s Playgroup allows you priority enrollment for the Co-Op’s 3’s class for the 2015-2016 school year.
