Recent obituary: Anthony Francis Wisniewski

Anthony Francis Wisniewski of Chelsea, Michigan, age 89, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the Chelsea Retirement Community.

He was born April 18, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Valentine William “Bill” and Charlotte Rose (Chojna) Wisniewski.

Tony graduated from Edwin Denby High School in 1952. He served in the Army from 1954-1956, during the Korean War. He was a Tool & Die apprentice with Bower Roller Bearings, and later worked with Federal-Mogul, retiring in 1994. Tony was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was a member and former President of the Chelsea Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed woodworking and carving. He also liked camping, especially in Waterloo and Manistee.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
