(Chelsea Update would like to thank Caitlin Deis, fitness specialist at the St. Louis Center, for the information in this story.)
Mark your calendars for the Saint Louis Center’s fundraiser – a 1-mile walk/run on Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to raise money and awareness for the center’s Fitness for Life Program.
The fee is $20 per person for those who register before the race and is free for children under 10 years old, so the whole family can participate. The fee is $25 on the day of the event.
The event will be held on the center’s campus at 16195 Old US-12 and benefits this community fitness program, which is for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and helps them with exercise therapy.
