Sounds and Sights continues tonight downtown, Aug. 9, but the forecast is calling for rain and thunderstorms throughout the evening.
If it’s raining at 8:30 pm, the movie “Avatar,” planned to be shown by the SRSLY group, will be cancelled.
According to an advisory this morning, if it’s raining or if the radar indicates that it will likely continue to rain through the scheduled movie time, the movie will be cancelled because the projection equipment cannot get wet.
If the movie is cancelled, the group will send out another email, post it on its Facebook page, and post a sign at the movie screen.
