I hope you are trying out new cake, cookie, brownie and other recipes so you’ll have lots to enter at the 76th Annual Chelsea Community Fair. Perhaps this is the year you enter the homemaker competition.

Are you watering and fertilizing your flowers and looking at your possible ag entries?

Don’t forget to look through your antiques, and take time to work on your afghans, quilts, needlepoint, crewl and cross-stitch.

Are you drawing, sculpting, painting, and photographing so your artwork will be finished in time to enter it at fair?

Remember, there is no cost to enter, it’s very fun to play a part in this community event and you never know, you might win a ribbon and a premium.

Jamie Lane, assistant fair secretary, has delivered the printed copies of the 76th Annual Chelsea Community Fair book to Dexter Mill, McCalla Feeds, Chelsea Parts Peddler, Farmers Supply, Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce office, Carquest and the Chelsea District Library.

In addition, the book is also available here.

“We also have the form to enter items in the hobby barn as a PDF on the website,” Lane says.
